A lead generation platform that leverages web scraping and machine learning to provide high-quality, targeted leads for businesses. The platform scrapes data from sources like Facebook groups and Reddit, allowing users to qualify leads based on customizable criteria for efficient decision-making.

Scalogy is a San Francisco-based AI startup aimed at streamlining lead generation process through targeted AI scraping and curated research.

Logo Iterations: Concepts reflecting scalability and experimentation.

Brand Design

Competitive Analyses & Research

To ensure Scalogy’s brand stood out in a competitive market, I conducted extensive research on the visual identities of major players in the lead generation and AI industries. The analysis revealed that competitors frequently relied on minimalist designs with generic tech-inspired elements like abstract shapes and predictable color palettes, such as blues and greens. This revealed an opportunity to differentiate Scalogy with a bold, modern aesthetic that combined experimentation and growth, positioning the brand as innovative, trustworthy, and distinct.

Logo Design Process

Building on insights from competitive research, I developed a series of logo concepts centered on scalability and innovation. The laboratory flask was chosen as the core symbol to represent experimentation, precision, and progress, with arrows integrated to convey upward growth and scalability, aligning with Scalogy’s mission to help businesses succeed. Through iterations, I refined the design to balance simplicity and impact, resulting in a logo that combines clean, modern typography with an iconic symbol, effectively reflecting Scalogy’s innovative approach to lead generation.

Website Design & Development

Translating Features into Visuals

After finalizing Scalogy's logo and brand identity, the next step was to design and develop a website that effectively highlighted the platform's unique features and competitive advantages. Based on input from the CEO, the website needed to emphasize Scalogy's ability to perform targeted research and custom web scraping, which set it apart in the lead generation market.

To communicate these strengths, I created visuals that clearly illustrated the platform’s core functionalities. A step-by-step process diagram was designed to outline how Scalogy enables users to search for leads, research and qualify them, find email addresses, and craft targeted emails. This visual approach simplified the explanation of a complex process while maintaining a clean and professional aesthetic.

Mockups were developed to showcase Scalogy's ability to scrape data from platforms like Reddit and Facebook groups, alongside custom interfaces that demonstrated how users could qualify leads based on specific criteria, such as business type or compliance requirements. Once the design was finalized, I developed the full website on Framer.

Digital Marketing

Website Performance Tracking

Following the launch of Scalogy’s website, I ran a Google Ads campaign to generate traffic and evaluate user engagement. By analyzing key metrics like click-through rates (CTR) and conversion rates, I identified patterns in user behavior and the effectiveness of the platform’s messaging. This data was crucial in assessing the alignment between Scalogy’s offerings and its target audience's needs.

Hypothesis Testing

Building on these insights, I proposed a hypothesis testing initiative to refine Scalogy's feature prioritization. The test focused on four core features: omni-channel marketing, research and qualifying leads, personalized email marketing, and custom scraping for leads. These features were chosen based on competitive research that highlighted them as essential categories for sales automation startups.

The results revealed that while features like personalized email marketing and omni-channel marketing resonated strongly with users, custom scraping was less desirable than initially anticipated. This insight led to a strategic pivot for the startup, enabling the CEO to refine Scalogy’s roadmap based on validated user preferences. The combination of marketing analytics and hypothesis-driven feature testing ensured that Scalogy remained agile and aligned with market demands.
