A lead generation platform that leverages web scraping and machine learning to provide high-quality, targeted leads for businesses. The platform scrapes data from sources like Facebook groups and Reddit, allowing users to qualify leads based on customizable criteria for efficient decision-making.

Scalogy is a San Francisco-based AI startup aimed at streamlining lead generation process through targeted AI scraping and curated research.

Solution

I redesigned the website to focus on clear messaging and user engagement, highlighting Scalogy’s unique features such as targeted lead research and custom web scraping. I conducted A/B testing to optimize the layout and messaging for conversions and ran targeted Google Ads campaigns to drive traffic. These efforts resulted in a 2x increase in CTRs and demo bookings.

Problem

Scalogy, an AI-driven lead generation platform, struggled to secure demo bookings and convert users into paying customers. The existing website failed to effectively communicate the product’s value, leading to low engagement and conversion rates.

Brand Design

Competitive Analyses & Research

To ensure Scalogy’s brand stood out in a competitive market, I conducted extensive research on the visual identities of major players in the lead generation and AI industries. The analysis revealed that competitors frequently relied on minimalist designs with generic tech-inspired elements like abstract shapes and predictable color palettes, such as blues and greens. This revealed an opportunity to differentiate Scalogy with a bold, modern aesthetic that combined experimentation and growth, positioning the brand as innovative, trustworthy, and distinct.

Logo Design Process

Building on insights from competitive research, I developed a series of logo concepts centered on scalability and innovation. The laboratory flask was chosen as the core symbol to represent experimentation, precision, and progress, with arrows integrated to convey upward growth and scalability, aligning with Scalogy’s mission to help businesses succeed. Through iterations, I refined the design to balance simplicity and impact, resulting in a logo that combines clean, modern typography with an iconic symbol, effectively reflecting Scalogy’s innovative approach to lead generation.

Website Design & Development

Translating Features into Visuals

After finalizing Scalogy's brand identity, I moved on to designing and developing a website that effectively showcased the platform’s core features and competitive edge. The goal was to highlight Scalogy’s strengths in targeted lead research, custom web scraping, email generation, and omni-channel marketing based on input from the CEO.

To make these features clear and engaging, I designed a step-by-step process diagram illustrating how users could search for leads, qualify them, find contact details, and craft targeted emails. This visual simplified complex workflows while maintaining a professional and polished look.

Mockups highlighted Scalogy’s ability to scrape data from platforms like Reddit and Facebook groups, with custom interfaces demonstrating how users could filter leads based on criteria like business type or compliance. Once the designs were finalized, I built the complete website on Framer, ensuring it reflected Scalogy’s innovative approach and user-focused design.

Digital Marketing

Website Performance Tracking

After launching Scalogy’s website, I ran a Google Ads campaign to drive traffic and analyze user engagement. By analyzing key metrics like click-through rates (CTR) and conversion rates, I identified patterns in user behavior and the effectiveness of the platform’s messaging. While the website showcased several features equally, I felt the messaging was too scattered and lacked a clear focus, which prompted further action.

Testing and Refining Priorities

To address this, I proposed a hypothesis-testing initiative to refine feature prioritization and ensure the messaging aligned with user needs. The test focused on four key features: omni-channel marketing, lead research and qualification, personalized email marketing, and custom scraping for leads.

The results revealed that lead research and custom scraping were the most exciting features for users. I refined the website to emphasize these core areas, resulting in significant improvements in click-through rates (CTR) and conversion rates for demo bookings. These insights also guided the CEO’s company direction and enabled the company to transition from manual LinkedIn outreach to a fully ads-based marketing strategy.
